Before You Arrive
Whether it's your first time climbing or your first visit to ALTA, we want you to feel confident from the moment you walk through the door. Choose Your Adventure
ALTA Climbing serves the greater Phoenix metropolitan area with three indoor climbing gyms, giving members access to diverse climbing styles across the East Valley and North Scottsdale. A single membership provides access to all locations, making it convenient for climbers who live, work, or travel throughout the Valley.
Together, these three gyms allow ALTA Climbing to serve climbers across much of the Phoenix Valley—from Gilbert and Chandler in the southeast to Scottsdale in the northeast—offering a mix of rope climbing, bouldering, fitness, classes, and community events under one membership.
Bouldering & Fitness
CHANDLER
Located just west of Gilbert, the Chandler location specializes in bouldering. The 20,000-square-foot facility features extensive bouldering terrain, training boards, fitness equipment, and regular competitions and clinics, making it a destination for climbers focused on strength and technique.
Climbing & Fitness
SCOTTSDALE
ALTA's newest Phoenix Valley location brings climbing to North Scottsdale, expanding access for climbers who previously had to drive to the East Valley. The gym provides indoor climbing in a modern facility while extending ALTA's community-focused approach to a growing part of the metro area.
